The Ultra 15 DSP is the largest powered loudspeaker in the new Ultra DSP range. Designed to deliver premium sound quality could be achieved at a price point that is accessible to all.  All components have been carefully selected by AVE engineers for the best performance and reliability with no compromise. The result is an innovative, fresh design that’s loaded with power, class, and a quality of sound that you expect from a far more expensive system.

Rich, Warm Sound

The Ultra15DSP features a high-output 15″ woofer with 1.5″ voice coil for extra punch and depth. Coupled with a precision 1.75″ compression driver to deliver a smooth and wide frequency response. While the solid 16mm Birch-Plywood cabinet provides the perfect foundation for a rich warm sound. The result is a detailed and full-bodied sound without any harshness, suiting a wide range of applications from installations to portable setups.

Custom 1100W bi-amped design

The ULTRA DSP series is fitted with a 1100W peak power amplifier that utilizes both Class-D & Class A/B technology. Providing the perfect balance of power and efficiency.  The Class-D amplifier powers the woofer, providing a punchy output even at low volumes. While the Class A/B amplifier delivers far less crossover distortion and warmer high-frequency response making it ideal for the compression driver. Together the result is a large punchy low end with detailed warm sound and efficient power consumption.

Rigorous Testing

With quality and reliability in mind, every unit we have built gets broken in through rigorous testing. In-house, every box is run for 40 hours continually, ensuring that all components are performing to the highest standard. Following this, each unit is then tuned by hand.

Industry First Editable DSP Software

The ULTRA line of speakers has been fitted with our industry-first, user editable, DSP processor. Allowing you to create, and tweak the speakers internal DSP to achieve the perfect sound for your environment or application. The system features 8 presets in total, with 4 that can be adjusted using our proprietary DSP software. Each preset has been custom tuned by AVE engineers to provide the best response and sound for the most common applications including;

• Music: For DJs and pre-recorded music
• Live: For bands, and live sound events with low-risk of feedback
• Speech: Tailored frequency response for presentations with low risk of feedback
• Satellite: Adds a high-pass filter for use with a subwoofer

The user-editable DSP gives you access to the speaker’s tuning and other controls to help you shape and control your sound, including;

• 6-band graphic EQ
• Speaker time delay
• High-Pass/Low-Pass Filters
• Main volume control

The ‘speaker time delay’ feature is something never seen before in such an affordable system. Allowing you to delay the speaker’s output for use with a larger system, preventing echo and phasing issues, and can be configured in the software by either millisecond (ms) or distance (m).

The innovation from the AVE Engineers has resulted in a rich warm sound with enhanced bass response, uncompromising performance, and audio clarity.
