Bio:
Steve started playing Drums at the age of 12 and by the age of 16 was doing regular gigs around town. He has a degree from the Conservatorium of music and had tuition from teachers including Milan Trona, David Jone and Gordon Rytmeister. He is an avid Jazz drummer and has played in many a jazz gig as well as working for over 15 years as a session drummer featuring on pop rock and country albums. He has played in a number of cover bands but currently he is the drummer for ‘Jellybean Jam’ a vibrant Sydney based cover band doing club/pub and corporate gigs all across NSW and interstate. Some highlights from his career would be playing at the Hordern Pavilion and Enmore Theatre alongside some well known international European vocalists. He has vast teaching experience having taught a quite a number of music schools around Sydney as well as being a High School Drum Teacher. Steve has a strong emphasis on good technique and starting off drums the correct way in not developing bad habits. He will get you grooving away on the drums in no time at all no matter which style of music you are into.
