Steinberg UR12 USB Audio Interface for PC-Mac-iPad

Steinberg has announced the new UR12, a compact portable USB 2.0 audio interface designed for home studio and portable use, and the latest in the popular UR family of audio interfaces. The UR 12 is compatible with Mac, Windows, and iPad, and supports audio resolution up to 24-bit/192kHz. It provides one Neutrik XLR input for microphones — a Class A D Pre featuring 48-volt phantom power and a high-impedance instrument input. Outs include main analog RCA outputs and a headphone output with dedicated volume control. A direct monitoring switch enables latency-free monitoring. The UR12 includes a free, bundled copy of Cubase AI, and the UR12 is compatible with Mac, Windows, and class-compliant-compatible iPad apps.

On the UR12 a 5 V DC port is provided to supply sufficient power when using it with an iPad. A standard USB power adaptor or an external USB battery can be connected to guarantee power stability.

Loopback function
UR12 offers an easy way to streaming performances live to the internet, with incoming audio signals merged to the playback signal from Cubase or other DAWs inside the computer.
